Can we bring in our own food or caterer?

We cannot allow outside food and beverage to be brought in.  Catering is available from our preferred vendors.   We do however allow baked goods and wedding cakes to be brought in from an outside licensed vendor.

Can we bring in our own alcohol?

Due to Liability and Permitting, we cannot allow clients or guests to provide their own alcohol.

Is the DeLand House on Main exclusive to our event?

Unless you are renting the entire venue, the DeLand House on Main is not exclusive to you and your guests.   We may have other events happening at the same time, but this will not affect your event.

Do you offer complimentary parking?

Yes, we have complimentary parking available in the back of the building, and four handicapped spots on the side of the building. If additional parking is needed, there is free public parking at 1 Packets Landing or we can arrange for valet parking.

Do you offer space for Bridal Parties to get ready?

We have beautiful space on our third floor that is available for rent for both the bride, groom and their parties.

Do you allow or have areas to take pictures?

Yes, the DeLand House on Main has many spaces that offer wonderful photo opportunities.

Do you allow decorations?

Yes, we welcome decorations. We do not allow anything to be attached to any walls or ceilings or floors without permission. No items may be hung from or attached to lighting fixtures or electrical outlets and switches. No glitter, foil confetti or the tossing of any items is allowed indoors or outdoors. Any items which could create a hazardous situation is not allowed (for example open flames or any kind of fireworks).

Can you recommend any vendors for our event?

We do have a list of reputable vendors that we are happy to share with you upon request.

What time do we need to conclude our event?

All events must end no later than 11:30pm.

Is your venue Handicapped accessible?

Our lower level and first floor level are Handicapped accessible. However, our third floor area is not.
